Week13 SCULPTURE

finally we did not have to work with clay anymore :P

We had to make forms/animals/anything out of cardboard.

I decided to make a dog, cuting out the layers and then stick it together but then Nóra came and we decided to make it toghether! So she had an idea that we connect the cardboard pieces with a wire. than we put a "huge" head and a little tail. Finally drew cute eyes and sticked cheeks on his/her face ! :P :)

Week11 SCULPTURE

On this lesson we had to make a sculpture of a nude girl.

I am not good at body sculptures... also i only made a torso... (without head)

Nóri and Brigi was drawing her out of colourful circles! it was fun!

The model girl was very nice the whole day was good! :)

Week8 SCULPTURE

This lesson we had to make forms out of sponge stone!!

It had a terrible sound as they were cutting and jigging. So instead of making the sponge stone figure we (Brigi and me) could make figures from little round shapde plasters.

I decided to cut a butterfly out from the plaster and George said that, we can check out the form of the butterfly, as we put the clay inside, and when we took it off it had the shape of my butterfly! It was good to know!!

On this lesson we've also learnt some important informations!! :)

It was a bit hard as this was our first sculpture making task! :)

i tried to make as accurate as possible! focusing on the forms and patterns!! :)

Week4 SCULPTURE

On the same lesson after we divided the paper and the ploaster we had to paint it as well so we decided to paint it with blue with red stripes.

Brigi and me spent the whole lesson trying to divide the glued paper and the plaster. It was very difficult so our hands hurt so much!!! but then it was good that we saw the negative of the clay mask.

But George told Brigi that she can continue my mask. She was layering the inner side of the plaster mask with tissue and newspaper and glue....

Week2 SCULPTURE

Second lesson, we had to make mask from clay. African like abnormal masks. first we were struggling with the forms then we all managed it. After we made the mask from clay we had to cover it with plaster. actually with huge amount of plaster so we were fighting to get enought plaster. It was fun we laughed a lot!

On the first class we met our Sculpture teacher: Szász György.
He told us about the subject and about what kind of things we are going to make. Our task was to do whatever we want from clay. Those who've never done such thing before, they had an introduction lesson! :) i made a heart shape "thing" :) with little dots comig out from it! Actually I misunderstood the task, because later we had to cover it with plaster. And because the plaster went under the dot kind of things it was hard to get off the clay. But still the lesson was fun!!! :)

A guest lecturer came and thought us about podcast , we were listening his interviews on Budacast.hu Than he introduced widgets and how to make a website more interesting and interactive. It was interesting!! :)

Week9 WEB DESIGN

We spent this lesson on deciding the design. We came up with many ideas. Reka came up with an idea of having 50's Rock and Roll Theme and we all liked this idea!!
Finally we decided to have 50's style American diner, half drawn half computerized. :)

Week7 WEB DESIGN

PRESENTATIONS

After taking extra individual classes, finally we could finish our site. We wanted to present first but it turned out that we did not save the pictures on the hard drive so it did not appear on the web sites. So while we were fixing this problem, others were presenting. They all have made interesting presentations.We were the last presenters. we had a link on our website, if you click on it, it goes on to Brigi's and my website. Nora Was presenting first then she clicked on my link so i was the next. We did well except Brigi because she had problems with her page. So we had a break while Brigi fixed her website after she could present.
Then we went out to the garden and formed groups to start working on the official BAAM Website! :D :)
First task: Come up with a theme for the BAAM Page! :)

Week6 WEB DESIGN

On week 6 we had to work on our web sites. It was hard in the beginning because we didn't do such things before! We got help but still it was hard! later on we realized that presentation comes next week so we reduced the amount of cities to 1 :P before we had 3 but still we had to do 7 pages!!! (instead of 14) :)

Week5 WEB DESIGN

We missed monday lesson so we joined the Friday class to catch up with the material. We were talking about Web sites and what colour we should use on what background. No lurid colours because that can be annoying for your eyes also no similar colours!.. Dr Phill showed us some examples as well.
Later on we could work on our web pages. making the background and texts. We decided to have the same appearance on our webs, the main page, fonts, arrangements etc.. but still it wont be totally similar. this lesson was a bit tough but still we had fun!! :)

Week4 WEB DESIGN

On week 4 we were eorking on thumbnails and hyperlinks. I thik i will use it putting up my pictures on the website.We are having difficulties with our website i think it is too much according to the time and our knowledge ... but hopefully we can handle this!! :P

Week3 WEB DESIGN

On week 3 dr Phil showed us unformations through powerpoint presentations. We have to come up with the topic that our website will have, what we do during this 7 weeks independently. Brigi came up with an idea - Travel Guide Where we present place we've visited. It'll contain informations on sightseeing nightlife shopping culture restaurants etc... And so we decided to make a website chain and if it is placed on the internet others can join this chain maybe.. :)
I hope it will be a good idea and be succesfull!!! :)

week2 WEB DESIGN

On the second week we've started our own new web page. we fixed the color of the text, upload a picture and wrote the first paragraph and title. After we've finished it, we had a little competition on who can create the ugliest web page. we've seen some really ugly pictures...

2nd Semester WEB PAGE DESIGN

On the first week we had our lesson about codes through making a web page. Dr Phil gave us the codes what we had to type in and during the typing he explained, which code we have to use if we want to fix the color of the background or the texts and how to upload pictures.
